Life is short. We know that. But how are we using it? Are we out enjoying it, living it, experiencing it, or are we just sitting around watching?
We’re still enduring a pandemic. We’re still slowly reopening the economy. We’re still coming to terms with how we deal with the sickness.
We’re almost able to hangout again. Almost able to see each other. But I can’t help wonder if we’re better off. Better off at home. Better off sitting inside watching movies, talking to people online, and working from home.
Is it not our natural state?
Aren’t we meant to be alone?
No. …that’s that right. We’re meant to live in community. So let’s build it.
We’ve been holding it together with online meetings, movie watch parties, and potato chips. Popcorn, too. And that’s been great. But I think it’s wearing on some.
I’m still enjoying the indoors. But, I’m probably an indoor cat. I prefer the company of a few to the many.
But until we can look each other face-to-face, let’s remember that we can still look like characters from Mortal Kombat.
And that’s not nothing.
