What Color Says About You (Spoiler: Nothing)

The colors were wear say a lot about us.  Mostly negative.  We’re so concerned with labeling things these days.  Especially when it comes to our favorite colors.  Blue is a boy color.  Pink is a girl color.  Who cares?

Maybe you think, “I’ll just stick with the “safe” colors for my favorite”.  You know, the ones in the rainbow [that don’t make good kids’ names (Lavender is a girl’s name. {What about Periwinkle?  Or indigo or violet?})].  Roy G. Biv.  Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.

If yellow is your favorite color what does that say about you?  (That you’re afraid of confrontation?)  Green is pretty safe, right?  Nope.  You’re either greedy or jealous; unless it’s St. Patty’s Day, then it’s mandatory.  Red?  You’re angry (bulk Hulk’s green…); unless it’s Valentine’s Day.  Orange?  That you crave attention.  Purple?  The color of nobility; so, obviously, you are arrogant to wear it.

Just stick with black.  It’s mysterious and scary.  On your wedding day, you can wear white; but otherwise, it’s just cold.

The point is, every color has a negative aspect.  But, I’m sure, at least one or two have a positive one as well…I think.  I don’t know, I didn’t google it.  That would disprove the hypothesis for this post.

(Red: excitement, energy, love.  Pink: romance, tenderness.  Yellow: joy, happiness.  Blue: peace, unity, calm.  Purple: wisdom, enlightenment, spirituality.  Orange: enthusiasm, warmth.  Green: nature, health, good luck.  White: reverence, purity.  Black: elegance, remorse.  Indigo: idealism, justice.)  Pay no attention to the man behind the parentheses.
