We’ve just had a lot of finales. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Arrow, Flash (and Gotham last week). Where does that leave us?
Well, Oliver retired. Barry teamed up with villains (and it worked about as well as you can imagine). And the agents…let’s just say it was a cliffhanger. Some retired, some were trapped, some are wounded. (Bruce found his dad’s secret office.)
But, it’s a Whedon-verse, so it shouldn’t be unexpected. No one can be happy. Plus, it’s on
ABC TV, so any emotional breakthroughs or declarations of love are punished. That’s why we can’t have feelings.
Even toward shows we love. You never know which might get cancelled. The list is floating around the internets, making the rounds. And, it’s extensive…at least, according to anyone.
So, how are we to survive? Netflix? (There is the Daredevil series.) Hulu?
Trailers for new premiers? Like Supergirl.
We could go outside. Nah.
I suppose there’s always video games to tide us over. Age of Ultron is still in theaters. Ant-Man premieres sometime in July (the 17th). I suppose summer isn’t a total bust.
