I saw a Prowler the other day. The car, not a mischievous miscreant (for clarification, Mom). This one was yellow. I still think that makes them look like a rolling banana…from the right angle.
Surprisingly, however, I didn’t hate it. Could it be that not seeing them has made them more desirable (less detestable)? The old school hotrod style married to the post-modern aesthetic was a risk. Still is.
I’m not saying it isn’t missing a certain something when looking at it head-on. Maybe a break in the color scheme, like changing the color of the front axles.
I’m just saying that from the back, that car has a badonkadonk. It’s definitely an applebottom girl (so you need to wear fur boots to ride in it/drive it?). I mean, it’s all trunk. Hasn’t anyone else noticed?
Or maybe I just associate fruit with cars.
