Sometimes I wonder if kids these days read enough. I think it’s the way books are marketed. We need to be relevant in our advertising. Else, we risk losing a valuable, impressionable market. If you hook them early, they’re yours for life (taking a page from cigarette companies from decades ago). Best part, LotR is easy to write, just like lol. It’s totally relatable to today’s youth.
Here’s what I think the new description should be for Lord of the Rings:
There once was a Hobbit named Frodo
Who everyone thought was a dodo
From his uncle Bilbo he got a ring
Though he never sought any bling
Now he’s got the best swag in the Shire.
