There are worse things in life
Than worrying how you smell
Which won’t bring you strife
Or even be a personal hell.
Whether curry, turmeric, arsenic, lace
Whatever is shoved into your face
Peppers, onions, butter, lard
You don’t need to be on guard.
Unless, of course, you smell like me
I burn all my food, you see
I don’t smell of crispy bacon
If you thought that, you’re mistaken.
Blackened rice and burnt water
Before I go out, I really outta
Take a shower and clean the pans
And don’t forget to run the fans.
