Taking Back the Holidays

Well, I was going to write a post today, but it was just going to end up becoming an indictment of the corporate greed of retail businesses and crass consumerism of America’s public…not exactly hilarious (or could it be?).

Instead, I’ll just wish you all Happy Thanksgiving.  Spend it with family and friends (away from stores).  And drive safe (after sleeping off the turkey…and alcohol).

    If everyone didn’t shop or didn’t go to work for just one day, we’d send a powerful message to corporate America. Maybe then we wouldn’t have to work on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Easter, New Years, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day, Labor Day, weekends, playoff games…
