So, I’ve been working out (once, a couple days ago) and I figured it might be a good idea to start eating more. You know, in order to bulk up. So I googled a few diet plans, but nothing really seemed like a good fit.
Then I read how Chris Helmsworth (Thor) gained muscles for his role as the God of Thunder (Thor). I discovered he ate a lot of quinoa. So there you have it, the new staple of my diet.
Why quinoa? Well, apparently it’s a pasta (according to the article; according to Wikipedia, it’s a grain) with a high protein content. Apparently it’s all about eating smart…I thought it was all about lifting as much weight as possible. Huh. Learn something new every day.
I also discovered that chocolate milk is good for you. So, it’s now become my beverage of choice. I should be svelt and muscular in no time.
I just hope I don’t get sick of eating only quinoa (because who can get tired of chocolate milk?); that’d probably ruin my whole “eat quinoa as my magic muscle building” plan.
