Yeah…so, I’ve been enjoying Mass Effect 3 (like every good nerd and fan boy); but one aspect has been lacking. Unfortunately, I’ve been fighting off a sore throat/cold combo that makes using the enhanced features of the Kinect all but impossible.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still fun, but the voice-augmented controls just aren’t the same when you’re rasping them out and the machine still can’t understand you. I suppose, I should be thankful I can even play the game when there are starving children in Africa (oh, thanks for the reminder, Debbie Downer).
I suppose I’ll just have to wait for my second play-through to enjoy the voice controls that are offered with the Kinect. I’m just glad that most Kinect specific games have a secondary way to do things. If I was stuck attempting to play games with screaming hoarsely at my TV, being sick would be no fun at all.
